Eliza and I had a wonderful time at your house in Bora Bora The house was very clean upon arrival. There were beautiful flowers everywhere. As I mentioned in a prior email, though, there were quite a large number of ants in the house when we arrived. It seemed that the ants were going after the flowers. In the future, I would suggest not having the flowers, or only have one to two. All appliances were fully functionnal ! The website was fine; however when we arrived, there was a binder full of very useful information (including a good taxi driver). It would have been nice to have been able to read all the content of the binder online before our arrival (including being able to arrange a pickup with the taxi driver)Overall stay was very nice. I will definitely recommend it to my friends. |

The house was fantastic, even better than we had hoped. We went for hikes, snorkeled around the pier as well as elsewhere on the island, rented a boat for a day, ate, sat on Matira beach, relaxed and generally had a good time. I've spent a lot of time in Hawaii, but Bora Bora has the true island vibe! What an amazing place you have there!

We had a wonderful time at Manureva House. It was so nice and quiet on your side of the island and the view was spectacular! We were very glad we decided to stay the whole time in Bora Bora. The island is just so beautiful and provided us with the relaxing environment we needed to get away from our hectic life. I actually was able to read 2 novels while we were there! We went deep sea fishing one day and we caught 4 Bonitos and took one home and cooked it up for dinner that night. Another day we went on a private lagoon boat excursion with a guide from the Taxi Motu people. It was fantastic. The snorkeling was amazing at the coral gardens and swimming with sting rays and reef sharks were experiences of a lifetime. The house was very clean and tidy and provided everything we were looking for. I couldn't find the extra set of bedsheets though and halfway through our stay it would have been nice to change those. Otherwise everything was in order and functional. I would definitely recommend your house to my friends and family. I hope we left your house in good order. I tried to make sure there weren't any crumbs left behind to attract the ants. Thanks again! We had a vacation of a lifetime! Kimberly |

Phil, Our stay at Manureva House was great. We had a lot of fun and the home is beautiful. The view from the house is spectacular. Everything in the home we used was functional. We were actually away from the home quite a bit because of day trips we took to other islands. It was a bit hot in the house during the afternoon hours for sleeping but otherwise everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend your house to anyone staying on Bora Bora and will likely stay there again. Thanks again, Craig |

We enjoyed our stay at Manureva House very much despite a rainy Xmas. Though a little remote from the south beaches both house and view are just gorgeous. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived with all the beds done. |

Our honeymoon was fantastic! We loved Manureva house and will definitely recommend it. Everything was clean and wonderful. All the appliances worked fine -though we replace the batteries in the A/C remote control- and we were very happy to have everything that we needed. It was very nice to have the air conditioning even though we used it very little. We used the local phone booths when we needed to contact our children in the U.S. Again, we loved it! Thank you. We got married again in Bora Bora through the Hotel Bora Bora (Patrick) and it was fantastic. I am attaching a couple of photos to share and also some photos which show your property to good advantage. Thank you Phil, I sincerely hope to visit your house again soon .......... we loved it! |

We enjoyed our stay at the house very much! The neighbors were friendly (George and Nathalie), and the location was perfect for us though a little far to get food daily on our bicycles! But great nonetheless The house was very clean! Everything worked satisfactorily except for : 1. the toilet which we had to fix a couple of times. 2. the cell phone decided to stop working on the third day of our stay for no apparent reason. This was a great excuse however to meet some neighbors to make a phone call or two. [Toilet has been fixed and a there is a new cell phone. Phil, Owner] We would recommend the house ! However a prewarning about the expenses for car rentals, taxis and food would have been very useful! During our stay, our most important discoveries were: 1. the ease of hitch-hiking to and from Vaitape 2. never to ride bicycles too close to the dogs in the roads at night! 3. Kaina Hut has the best food and atmosphere on the island. Thank you for all your assistance in making our honeymoon vacation memorable! Your information packet was very informative and useful. |

Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home...what an amazing view over the lagoon.We were very tempted to stay a second week, but having been travelling for over a year, it's a drive from Los angels to san Fran then home to London . We met Isabel and the couple who own the funny cat boats on the front...they were very friendly. We got to snorkel in the coral gardens hired a boat along side with having a couple of lovely meals and driving round the island. Sorry we didn't get back to you,we weren't very organised with remembering to the top cell phone. We had A very relaxing week...Once again thank you |

We had a wonderful time. Your house is beautiful and everything you said it was! We enjoyed swimming in the morning and drinks on the dock in the evening! We enjoyed the friendly rooster in the wee hours of the morning reminding us not to sleep the day away. We made friends with the few neighbors and enjoyed drinks with Michel and rides to the Motu with Stephan. Bora Bora was beautiful. We visited the sights and swam with the sharks. We went to the local grocery and purchased Thon Rouge from the local fisherman and cooked it at home. We filled our days and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you again for everything! You have a beautiful place. Everything worked like clockwork! We'd love to come back. |

Thanks for letting us use your house in Bora Bora. I will rate it a "10" with the greatest view in the Island and privacy. We really enjoyed staying at your place and the sunset every night. The big balcony overlooking the ocean, the open concept, etc. can't complaint except for the many steps...Bringing our luggages up was the saddest part but anything else, no problem. I will definitely recommend your place... Everything that you've told me through email and the renter's book was my expectations. The house was clean when we arrived and the guardian "Isabelle" was very helpful. We didn't even used the Air conditioning as we used the electric fan and most of the time if we're home, we just open all the windows or stayed on the balcony. |

We enjoyed Bora very very much...we got great tans and we were completely mesmerized by the incredible beauty of both the land and the water...and the friendliness of the local people. Since it got sometimes very hot in the middle of the day the A/C in the small second bedroom was very appreciated. Phil, thank you again for making your house available to us. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will not forget. |

We had a wonderful time in Bora Bora and at Manureva house. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived and the flowers were a very nice touch. Everything worked great and was like it was advertised on VRBO. I would and have recommended it to friends. I guess the only thing that we had trouble with is the heat but that was because of the time of year and what we are used to. Thank you for letting us use the air conditioner it was a life saving. We had a great time in your Bora Bora house over Christmas; all of us enjoyed it a lot. We hope we left it in as good condition as we found it. Please check for yourself when you get back. Milton Doom came in with the best price for the car for a week: 49,700 Fr. It worked out fine. We found it a bit frustrating to be able to see the motu from your windows but not be able to get there, so one day we did the round-the-island trip by renting from Taxi Motu. Later we made a deal with the neighbor with the - what does he call them? - Funny Boats to take us to the large motu that they use as part of the tour, without getting the silly lagoon tour. We managed to get this for 5,000 Fr aller-retour. It's a very nice spot that he rents from the parents of Jackson, one of the guys who works for him. It's on the other side of the motu from the Black Pearl Resort. I'd recommend it to other renters. There's great snorkeling. |

We certainly did love staying in Manureva House and had a wonderful holiday in Bora Bora. We have plenty of photos and video to remind us of our stay. The ever changing view from the windows and deck is such a wonderful feature of your house. It was very clean and tidy when we arrived and everything worked well. The beds and chairs were very comfortable. We hired a car for the full two weeks as we loved exploring the island as well. We did the Lagoonarium trip which was a marvellous day and also hired a boat for a full day when we explored more of the lagoon and coral gardens. Jeremy and I climbed one of the ridges well into the centre of the island and obtained some fantasic views from there. We snorkled in many areas and swam off the jetty most days.
Your website photos and information pack was very helpful and accurate and I would have no hesitation at recommending Manureva House to our friends and contacts. We have already told several people about it. |

A little remiss in getting back to you after our fantastic week in your Bora Bora home, great diving and relaxation. I think we just now have caught up after being gone the 11 days, and then returning to our home and 4th of July celebrations! Your home is wonderful, very spacious and just right for us. It was exactly as promised. We made a number of tours around the island trying to see everything. After discovering the Bora Bora Yacht Club, we spent a few evenings enjoying drinks, dinner and the sunset from the couches on their dock. Another favorite was Bloody Mary’s. Candy bought pearls from the Tahiti Pearl Market near Bloody Mary’s. We have told quite a few of our friends about your rental home and hope you see more business from Coronado. We would hope to go again someday. Again, thank you, and if you ever find yourself in San Diego or Coronado again, please call so we can have dinner and drinks. |

Everything about the house was perfect, and we loved it. Cindy swam several times a day off the dock and the little beach, and fed the fish off the end of the dock almost every morning. We got all we needed from the To'a Amok supermarket. Several days we rented a motorboat and visited every motu from Matira in the south to the ones to the left in front of the house to the left of the airport in the north. We took the free launches to Bora Bora Lagoon and Bora Bora Pearl Beach to visit, swim and have lunches at the other two big motu to the west. Thank you also for providing the Vini phone - though we did not use it. We did play your Bora Bora love songs CD on the stereo, which was a nice touch. We spent much of our time on the porch deck just marveling at the stunning panoramic view. |
